Customizing dollar/R5 store lashies.
Hello beauties!
Today we are customizing our own cheapie lashies.
Now, I say cheapies because this is the dollar/R5 store type of lashies that you normally walk past.
I felt the need to take this task under my wing and DIY it so that all of us can try it. (I have always been the type to take one for the team).
Anyway, let us get started!
Picture 1.
You will need:
-2 or more pairs of thin band lashes (natural looking)
-A pair of scissors
-Strong hold eyelash glue (24hr)
-Tweezers
-Mascara
Picture 2.
You start off by applying glue on the lash band then waiting about 15-20 seconds before sticking another lash band to the first one.
Picture 3.
Carefully put another lash above the one with adhesive on and line the bands very closely to each other. You can move onto the next set while the first set dries.
Picture 4.
Cut the eyelash according to the length of your own lash taking into consideration that you will not be sticking the lash right into the front corner of your eye as this will annoy the heck out of you! Please do not make the mistake of cutting the eyelash according to one eye. You have to cut this and make sure that it is a pair or you will end up looking like you should be walking the runway in Milan with wonky eyelashes that are back to front! (If you happen to be a model who walks the runway or a fashion designer who has models walking the runway for you then I apologize for the comment as it is not meant to offend you! Not that you guys would be here reading this post but if by the grace of GOD, you are then drop me a comment below!)

Time to apply the glue and put on those lashiiiiies. Start by applying an even amount of glue on the lash band the putting more on either end and right in the middle as well. Wait 20 seconds for it to dry then go in with your tweezers or fingers and press the lash down as close to your lash line as you possibly could. If you're an amateur at applying lashes then keep on keeping on because practice makes permanent! Keep a mirror below your face and look down as this makes applying the lash so much more easier but hey, do what suits you best booboo. I watched YouTube videos and this helped a lot!
Finally, allow your lashes to dry and go in with your fav mascara and own it because you just did that by yourself!
